Jerrod Niemann may be a fresh voice on the country airwaves but
this
Kansas native has already been making a name for himself, both
as a
performer and a respected songwriter, best known for co-writing
Garth
Brooks' #1 hit "Good Ride Cowboy". Jerrod's creative style is
very much his
own, blending traditional roots with a contemporary edge,
together with
unconventional elements for an album that he describes as
"deliciously
diverse." For his upcoming major label debut, Jerrod found
inspiration from
his long-time friend and fellow recording artist,Jamey Johnson,
who
encouraged him to make a record that really meant something to
him.
The resulting music is Judge Jerrod & The Hung Jury. With his
first single
"Lover, Lover," he has become the first new male artist to
break into the Top
30 of the Billboard Country singles chart in under 6 weeks
since 2006.
