Jimi Hendrix - The Atlanta Reel ORIGINAL version(LaserDiscRip)

Released under a 100 different names..........too numerous to list.
This is the 'original' version of the footage as created and envisioned by Alan Douglas...
all the various bootleg releases all come sourced from the same Japanese Laser Disc version
(note the sub-titles on rare occasion).
Douglas also added ambient crowds noises,etc. to this releases. There is extra non-jimi footage of the crowd gathering,etc and studio version of Message to Love in the beginning.
The track listing is also a little different.
Personally it is one of my favorite...not only is this footage 50 mts. of just Hendrix playing(no interview dialogue or substitute footage,etc) but seeing Hendrix playing 'Star Spangled Banner' on the US. Independence Day Holiday with fire works bursting in the air above is a unique view.
It is also the only footage I have seen of Hendrix playing' Strate Ahead'(Hello My Friend)..
this alone for me was worth getting the Atlanta footage.
