Jimi Plays Monterey

In this performance, the Jimi Hendrix Experience would launch its legendary career in front of an unsuspecting American audience at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967. Having garnered some musical notoriety in the UK, this was his coming out, and coming home party.

It is considered by many to be his finest performance.
