ANTARTIDA was one of these, a film about drug addiction. I remember seeing its soundtrack in the Cale section at my favorite CD store several years ago, priced at over $30; it was agony -- especially as "Antarctica Starts Here" is one of my favorite songs from his classic PARIS 1919 album -- but $30 for a single disc? I had to pass. Since then, I've sometimes thought of this disc as The One That Got Away, especially as it's now OOP. Thankfully, I recently won a copy on eBay, so I am passing my winnings on to you, since most of you will never get to hear this, otherwise. A very nice, atmospheric score... that just happens to contain a reunion of 3/4s of The Velvet Underground on one track. Had that information been mentioned on the back cover of this disc, I would have bought it new, then and there. Sorry, no scans. Related Torrents
