(Johnny Hates Jazz) Clark Datchler - Fishing For Souls

Clark Datchler was the lead singer for Johnny Hates Jazz from 1986-1988. Two years after leaving the group, Clark released his first solo album in July 1990, entitled Raindance. The single Crown of Thorns was successful in the UK but the album itself bombed and was quickly discontinued by the record label. It is now impossible to find or buy.

In 1992, Clark made a new solo album called Fishing For Souls, which included half of the songs from Raindance plus the B-Side song 'Widow' from his Crown of Thorns single as well as three new songs. The first single was 'The Last Emotion' (a song that had also appeared on Raindance) but the release of that single as well as the 'Fishing For Souls' album, was mysteriously cancelled by the label, Virgin Records, without explanation. It was eventually released in selected territories of the world, but whether that release was official or a bootleg remains a mystery
to this day.

In 2006, Clark released a new solo album entitled 'Tomorrow' which was re-released in 2007 with one addition track added. I am also sharing this CD as well. Just look at my torrents or search for Clark Datchler.

The 'Fishing For Souls' album is extremely rare so, if you are downloading it, then please think of all the others like you and please seed this for as long as possible. Even if you burn it to CD, leave the files on your computer in the original download location...it doesn't take up that much room afterall.
