Hello!

Johnossi is myself, John (guitar, vocals), and my friend Ossi (drums). We like

to play music, or in fact, we have to play music in order to keep our sanity and

peace of mind. If we didnÆt play music we wouldnÆt be able to vent our

collective energies and I am pretty sure weÆd be fairly destructive human

beings.Music is the balance in our lives. I like all kinds of music; everything

from Jose Feliciano to Sepultura. I enjoy good songs û plain and simple. Ossi

and I don't restrict ourselves when creating our music. It doesn't matter if

it's metal or country, we follow our guts and let that feeling guide us. The

fact that we are a duo doesnÆt really play a big part on us û or it is not

something we dwell on û and it never restricts us musically. We focus on writing

brilliant songs and maintaining the magic chemistry that is created when we

create music together. When we first discovered that chemistry it was like an

untamable force that we are still learning how to harness. That energy climaxes

when we play live û it is a rare Johnossi show if it ainÆt pretty loud and

intense! We are not a band, we are two friends doing what we are meant to do ,

John and Ossi. John Johnossi are a Stockholm based rock two piece that created

waves with their self titled debut originally released in 2005 on very small

indie Rekord Musik. The act quickly became the talk of the Swedish indie scene

and soon found themselves opening for The Soundtrack of Our Lives on their

Swedish tour. They caught the attention of V2 Music and were signed and the

album was re-released with additional tracks in 2006 and it quickly found fans

outside of Sweden. In GSA especially the bandÆs hard stomping melodic blues

drenched indie rock gained great acclaim on the live circuit where they opened

up stadiums for both fellow Swedes Mando Diao as well as #1 selling German act

Sportfreund Stiller. The new album has been a while in the making and sees the

duo paired up with producer Jari Haapalainen (The Concretes, Ed Harcourt, Camera

Obsucra, Laakso etc) and delivers 10 hard driving tracks that gain something new

with each listen.
