The Jonas Brothers are an American pop-rock band from Wyckoff, New Jersey, made up of three brothers: Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas. To parents, they're the new Hanson. To kids who've been tuning into Radio Disney and flipping the pages of Tiger Beat, they're geniuses. They have previously released two albums - 'It's About Time' in [2006], and 'Jonas Brothers' [2007], and have now released their new album 'A Little Bit Longer' in August 2008. Because of their major success with Disney and Hollywood Records, Disney has signed the brothers to two Disney Channel Original Series', a 3D concert movie, a behind-the-scenes book, and a sequel to their hit Disney Channel Original Movie.
'A Little Bit Longer' is the third studio album from the Jonas Brothers, and their second album released under Hollywood Records/managed under Sony/ATV Music Publishing. It was released on August 12th 2008. 'Burnin' Up' is the album's first single and was officially released via radio stations on June 20th 2008, also on that same day, the music video for 'Burnin' Up' premiered on Disney Channel. The release of the album had a major impact on sales of their earlier albums. The band's last album, 'Jonas Brothers', sold 31,000 units in the same week that 'A Little Bit Longer' was released, charting for its 54th week on the Billboard 200 and moving back into the top ten. This marks the first time a group has had two concurrent top-ten albums since 'N Sync accomplished the feat in January 1999.
