Refusing to play the Latin pop crossover game, Colombian singer-songwriter Juanes returns with Un Dia Normal, a second solo album sung entirely in Spanish that manages to kick the idea of sophomore jinx square in the jewels.

About the only concession Juanes makes to courting crossover success is "Fotografia," a ballad with Nelly Furtado, a native Portuguese speaker who does well in switching gears to sing in Spanish.
