My test on it showed ZERO % CPU usage and used about a 10TH the memory of MPC-HC. MPV or .html MPlayerx should be used by mac users and there are others. VLC has limited support and 5kplayer seems to be a bloated form of VLC that uses even more of your cpu than any other player. I don't have a mac so please let others know what seems to work best for you. Not all will play I have an a8 amd laptop that struggles with 1080p HEVC video my i7 no problem. k-lite is the better solution for windows it uses less of your cpu in order to play. I can't help you if you computer is too slow try to step down to 720p if it can't play 1080p the higher bitrate Hevc files that I do are for newer faster computers they may or not work for you that is not my problem it's yours go buy a faster computer if yours can't play them and don't thumb down just because YOU have a problem ask nice I or someone will help you IF we can with your system. Make sure to download a 90second clip before downloading the main upload to see if you can play it 1st.There is no point in wasting bandwidth if you can't. This was the best solution I could come up with that most people could do. make the normal aac audio and put the lossless in a separate container with simple instructions on how to add them. I saw where qtwigg was doing it and I also felt it would be good when I get the pgs subtitles as well since those can be sorta big and some people complained about those as well. This just means you have to be willing to learn how to mux mkv's which is pretty simple. Mkvtoolnix can do a bunch of other thing as well but that would take a rather long tutorial to go over everything it can do.
