oh yea baby. the blues I mean real heartfelt blues. The kind of blues you had to record using the minimal amount of equiptment but it was the musicianship and the songwriting that really was the basis for albums like these. This is another charlie release #219 according to the cover of songs recorded from 1957 to 1962.

Since I am not a blackman that lived his adult life in these times, I cannot be a judge of how these blues transformed how a blackman living in those times felt but I can sure "feel" these blues. All the songs are short and to the point and very few sound like each other and this is what makes this 24 song cd so good
