Brother and sister from Antwerp (Belgium), Gert and Sarah Bettens form
the group The Basement Pigs during adolescence. In 1992, the singer and
guitarist gets critical acclaim with his resumed solo classical ½
I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry ╗ (Hank Williams).

Back with his brother, both are becoming Choice K's Choice
With the arrival of Jan van Sichem Jr. musicians (guitar), Erik Verheyden
(Bass) and Koen Lieckens (drums). K's Choice released his debut album The
Great Subconscious Club in October 1993, the quintet toured with Morphine
The Proclaimers and Indigo Girls.

The second album, Paradise in Me (√ ao t 1996), produced by Jean Blaute,
sounds more rock. It mainly contains the single ½ ╗ Not an Addict becomes a
international hit and remains as the song reference K's Choice.
However, the group connaεt some internal frictions: Bart Van der
Zeeuw takes the position of drummer while bassists succeed.
Alanis Morrissette, then at faεte of its popularity, the group takes
tour.

In 1997, K's Choice occurs in the first edition of Lilith Fair and records
his third album with Gil Norton (Pixies, Counting Crows, James). Released in
Spring 1998, Cocoon Crash contains three singles Believe ½ ╗ ½
Everything for Free ╗ ½ ╗ If You're Not Scared. The album sold more than one
million copies and went platinum in Belgium and the Netherlands. In
within the formation, American Eric Grossman became the regular bassist.

The year 2000 marks the return of Koen Lieckens for the album Almost Happy
produced by Chad Blake. The title is justified by the problems through
K's Choice, Sarah Bettens particular has mononucleosis. Almost
Happy proves the band's latest album that pauses
interrupted by the appearance of album Live in 2001 and double compilation
10: 1993-2003 - Ten Years of K's Choice, accompanied by a DVD in 2005.

To the surprise of everyone, especially the fans, K's Choice makes a return
surprise March 29, 2010 with the fifth double album Echo Mountain,
recorded in Asheville, North Carolina, and distributed by Sony. ½ When I
Lay Beside You ╗ ½ ╗ Come Live the Life are the first previews.
