Kamandi  What started out as a Planet of the Apes clone (after DC couldn't get the rights) quickly turned into yet another Jack Kirby showcase, as the King beautifully depicted this tale of a future apocalyptic world where animals rule mankind. Kirby's art is some of the most expressive of his career and his writing here is pretty good as well; he would end up writing the first 40 issues while the series itself lasted until issue 59. This torrent only presents the first 27 issues, as those have been re-released in digital form.
