Toen Katie Melua als 18-jarig meisje haar handtekening zette onder het contract met Dramatico/Mike Batt, was ze nog onwetend van het feit dat ze nog geen 5 jaar later de bestverkochte vrouwelijke artiest van 2007 in de UK zou zijn.
Dat jaar kwam namelijk haar derde en zeer succesvolle album Pictures uit. Ook de voorgangers, Call Of The Search en Piece By Piece waren wereldwijde nummer 1 hits en maakten van Katie een absolute ster.
