The Fairgate family are in turmoil following Sid's death. Michael is terrified that his mother will die next and ends up constantly checking up on her. Eric becomes very upset when Karen sells Sid's car. Diana's upset that her mother wont open up about her feelings. Karen ends up firing Abby and goes off at Gary and ends up starts slapping and hitting him. After Val confronts her, Karen opens up to how she is feeling. Ginger has a baby girl and names her Erin Molly. Karen goes to see them and as she holds the baby, she ends up breaking down.
