Law & Order: Criminal Intent features Detectives Zach Nichols (Jeff Goldblum) and Serena Stevens (Saffron Burrows) of the Major Case Squad. They will front the 16 episode caseload.



Law & Order: Criminal Intent takes viewers into the minds of its criminals while following the psychological approaches the squad uses to solve the crimes. Detective Nichols' Socratic approach to crime scene investigation has his partner, Detective Stevens, just trying to keep up. Detective Stevens' sense of humor keeps things light, but there are many layers to her psyche. So she secured Detective Nichols' trust and admiration on the MCS team in no time.



Law & Order: Criminal Intent also stars Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio as Captain Zoe Callas who made a name for herself in Internal Affairs before elevating to Major Case Squad.
