Trama

Claire ha diciassette anni. Quando scopre di essere incinta di cinque mesi, decide di partorire in gran segreto. Trova rifugio dalla signora Melikian, una ricamatrice che lavora per l'alta moda. Giorno per giorno, punto dopo punto, man mano che la pancia di Claire cresce, fra le due donne si instaura un rapporto madre-figlia.

Recensione

Perché i francesi riescono a girare film che gli italiani non realizzerebbero nemmeno sotto tortura? Questo interrogativo persiste nel cuore dello spettatore dopo la visione dell'ennesimo piccolo-grande capolavoro d'oltralpe. Strepitose le interpreti (Arianne Ascaride, musa di Guediguian, triste e depressa nell'elaborazione del lutto che l'ha colpita, ma capace d'un tratto di illuminarsi con un sorriso e Lola Neymark, dalla strepitosa chioma rosso fuoco), e valida anche la regia della Faucher che predilige i primi piani ed i colori pastello per raccontare una storia di ordinaria tristezza ma credibile nel suo happy end. Poche parole, mai fuori luogo, un film finalmente non urlato, fintamente dimesso, misurato, pudico e riuscito, da vedere.
