Led Zeppelin - "The Song Of Detroit" Cobo Hall, Detroit July 13th 1973 flac
Led Zeppelin 13 July 1973 Cobo Hall - Detroit, Michigan Bootleg Title: The Song of Detroit Bootleg Label: Celebration Disc Number: SOBO 006 Stereo Soundboard Fragment Track List: 1. Moby Dick 2. Heartbreaker 3. Whole Lotta Love 4. Dancing Days (fades around 2:30) The Celebration release also contains Dazed and Confused and stairway to Heaven, but they are not from this date. See the explanation below, from Underground Uprising: "A friend of mine thought that the 7/13/1973 "Song of Detroit" sounded a bit too much like 5/26/1973 Salt Lake City 1973 (on Watch Tower) and I confirmed the fact. The songs of issue are Dazed And Confused and Stairway To Heaven. This was the extra material that made this a more complete release than [previous releases]. Plant's comments between these two tracks match. It appears that Celebration got away with this as I see that bootledz lists it as a more complete show, and your site lists it as a worthy upgrade. When you get a chance take a listen to both shows and if you agree with my friend and I please note the issue on your website so that people are aware." (Ben Bowen March 03) In order to stop the spread of these incorrectly added tracks, I have delteted them from this torrent. All tracks included here are known to be from Detroit. The stryder website ranks the sound quality of this show at 8.5, and I must agree that it sounds great. Whole Lotta Love is nothing less than amazing! Torrent includes: EAC Logfile FLAC Fingerprints Artwork (altered to make the tracklist accurate for this date) This info file Source: Incomplete excellent soundboard recording. 55 minutes. Details: The recording is a very good balanced professional board tape. Comments: These are only the last four songs from the show and all that is known to exist from it. Robert's voice sounds really damaged but the band is unreal in Whole Lotta Love and Jimmy's soloing in Heartbreaker is breathtaking. This is the only time Dancing Days was played on the US Tour in 1973 and the last time it was ever played in electric form ... it would show up in the acoustic sections of 1977! Sharing Widget |
