French lute compositions from Pierre Ballard's "Tablature de differents autheurs sur les accords nouveaux" 1631 and 1638. The title "les accords nouveaux" (= the new tunings) simply refers to the new tunings in thirds used for the baroque lute, whereas the renaissance lute was tuned in fourths.
