City Trader Jamie is found dead in his high end flat. At first, it seems that he died of a drug overdose, but something is not right.

Helen, an ex-university friend and current mistress of Jamie, and married to the dull David sets out to investigate. At the funeral, Helen and David meet Mark, another old university friend, who intimates that he works for MI5. He tells them that Jamie was supplying information on his bank's activities. Mark tells them that Jamie had a file of information that Mark wants and believes Helen has.

She protests that she does not have it, but then Mark starts to turn on the pressure and Helen realises she must find Jamie's murderer......
