Description
this is such a great series....very funny and the writing is fantastic!! hope you enjoy it as much as i did! happy happy reading!! Angel Of Mercy [The Fallen 01] When Mercy wakes up in the hospital after a brutal stabbing, she has little recollection of the attack; only the blurred memories of a mysterious stranger with piercing blue eyes that haunts her dreams. After spotting the same man, that only she can see, Mercy follows him home, brazenly confronting him. (kids at home, never do that!) Her savior turns out to be less than human, or is it more? Samael is a fallen angel, bound to the Earth and living out his life among humans but apart from them. Unwilling to let an innocent die, Sam bestowed some of his Grace to Mercy, healing her wounds and imbuing her with some of his angelic powers. Thrust into a world within her own where angels and demons coexist unseen by mortals, Mercy must learn to accept the fact that she is no longer strictly human; she is something new. Complicating things is Adamiel, the reckless fallen angel who is Sam's enigmatic friend. Equal parts information and aggravation, Sam and Adam help Mercy acclimate to her new life. But now Mercy's eyes are opened to a whole new world beyond the human realm... and their eyes are opened to her. Mercy for the Wicked [The Fallen 02] “How do you tell a guy you’re being stalked by demons without sounding like a fruitcake? Even if he really cares about you, there’s bound to be that moment when he looks at you like you’re a total number, right?” Mercy is back, and in a world of trouble as factions from above and below vie for her attention, pulling her from the carefully constructed ‘normalcy’ of her life. After confessing all to boyfriend Ben, Mercy is counting on fallen angel Samael to help protect her while she deals with the sting of Adam’s abandonment. But self-control has never been Adam’s strong suit. When Mercy is pursued from all sides, will Adam be able to resist playing the hero? Or will Mercy get tired of waiting and save herself? In the end, Mercy must decide, is the enemy of her enemy her friend? Or just a worse enemy? Mercy for the Damned [The Fallen 03] "You'd think having an angel come to visit you would be a good thing. So why did I feel like everything was about to get ten times worse as one knelt before me?" When a new prophecy predicts a great evil if a fallen angel is allowed to remain in Midian, Mercy will move heaven and earth to free Adam from his deal with Arum. The trouble is, it's far easier to get into Midian than it is to get out, and Adam is perfectly happy to serve out the remainder of his sentence if it keeps Mercy safe from harm. Throw in some pressure from the police who suspect Sam and Mercy of eliminating Ben, and the race is on to rescue both of them before it's too late. Child of Mercy [The Fallen 04] Left to raise a child on her own, Mercy contends with normal pregnancy woes, and a slew of dangers as new enemies and old vie for a piece of the child. Her heavenly cousins don't seem all that pleased with her impending motherhood either, and Mercy needs all the help she can get to keep her baby safe. Luckily, she has friends and family around to help out (a little too much family if you ask Mercy), especially Parker who is more than happy to fill Adam's vacant shoes. The question remains - will Adam stay away? And more importantly, if he waits too long, will Mercy want him to? Mercy for the Fallen [The Fallen 05] Three years have passed since Mercy chose a stable life with Parker instead of fallen angel, Adamiel. Only the supernatural community isn't done with Mercy and Eve, not by a long shot. Lucifer's made it no secret that he has designs on the Child of Light, and is tired of waiting in the shadows for Eve to come of age. His interference brings Adam back to Mercy's doorstep and into her life, whether she wants him there or not. The arrival of Archangel Michael both simplifies and complicates things as we learn how many are drawn to Eve's Grace. As circumstances force Mercy to rely more and more on Adam, she wonders if people can change, even the Fallen. But even if she could admit to the long buried feelings bubbling to the surface again, can she trust Adam to learn what it is to love someone more than himself for a change? Sharing Widget |
