Little Feat - High Wire Act Live In St. Louis (2003) (Size: 4.36 GB)
Description
Little Feat's seven-member powerhouse line-up continues to carry the band's thirty-plus year tradition on in fine style, both as a hugely popular live act and in the recording arena. Time has loved these musical heroes for more than three decades now, as have countless fellow musicians, many of whom they've collaborated with over the years - both individually and as a group-including Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Beck, Brian Wilson, Robert Plant, and Johnny Lang. With an immensely rich legacy, and a fresh and inspired band of musicians continuing to create exciting new material, Little Feat will no doubt be sailin' into the future with no end in sight.

But this beautifully filmed and recorded concert proves that this is still a superior, distinctly (if not quite as distinctive as before) American rock band. Little Feat, who reformed some eight years after George died in '79, acknowledges his influence by continuing to perform much of the material they recorded during his era, including several of his best-known songs (like "Tripe Face Boogie," "Fat Man in the Bathtub," and the countrified classic "Willin'"). But the now-seven-piece group (five members have been around for over three decades) can stand on its own, with guitarist Paul Barrere, pianist Bill Payne, and singer Shaun Murphy handling most of the vocal duties. The fans clearly love 'em, and why not? Playing for well over two hours, including encores, they certainly don't skimp, churning out a heady brew of funky, rhythmically-diverse, blues-based fare. A 15-minute documentary rounds out the DVD Related Torrents
