Mark Tully, a veteran journalist for the BBC, takes on the challenge of removing the enigmatic shroud covering the true face of Jesus. In this three part series, Tully examines Jesus the Rebel, Jesus the Jew, and The Hidden Jesus. As Tully digs through ancient texts, speaks with respected experts, and walks the hallowed grounds of the Holy Land he gives a rich view into the more guarded aspects of the Christian figurehead. Jesus is presented as a great social revolutionary, a gifted rabbi just trying to get by, and an ascetic of mythological proportions.
