LSD - a documentary report - Rare '60s album doc on the popular psychedelic (Size: 51.26 MB)
Description
This is a recording from vinyl of the hard-to-find 1966 Capitol Records release LSD : a documentary report on the current psychedelic drug controversy!
It's a fairly objective (for the time!) look at acid culture from the hippies to the dealers and the gurus to the scientists, not to mention the crazy music and the imminent threat to American values. Featuring clips from Tim Leary, Laura Huxley and Allen Ginsberg, and the penetrating psychological insight of Dr. Sidney Cohen, M.D. I'v recorded each side as a 128kbps mono mp3. They run 46:25 minutes together. I've included relatively high-resolution scans of the album art which includes photographs and a couple of text pieces (with a very interesting Glossary of terms to help Mr. & Mrs. Average American).
