In Lucky Jim, we are introduced to Jim Dixon, a junior lecturer at a British university who spends his days fending off the legions of malevolent twits that populate the school. His job is in constant danger, often for good reason, for he is at odds with the head professor, attracts the unwanted attention of a fellow instructor and falls in love.



This is a made-for-TV remake of the hilarious 1957 film starring Ian Carmichael as Jim Dixon.



Screenplay by Jack Rosenthal.
