To all those having problems with this one, be sure to burn the dmg on a Mac, using disk utility. I used it to update an early-2008 iMac and it all went great! The system is a little sluggish on that machine, but this release is just perfect!

Mountain lion does slow down older macs. Just do this then, it'll run faster than Snow leopard after this:\n
