Magix Video Pro X7 is the big brother of Magix Video Deluxe, the latter existing in 3 versions including a Premium version. The differences between Magix Video Pro X 7 and the Premium version of Magix Video Deluxe are not obvious. On the asset side of the pro version:

-the compatibility of broader codecs like XAVC formats (pro format, not XAVC-S), and (already in Video Pro X6) the ProRes formats, XDCAM, and AVC-Intra pay upon activation. Also, a hardware support for Blackmagic Intensity / Decklink. No H.265 compatibility, it's a bit too early!



Install Notes:
1. Unpack and install the program. (Disabling your network is recommended before install.)
2. Don't launch the app. Replace the fixed exe to default dir.
3. Replace the fixed Protein.dll in Protein folder, confirm replacing obviously.
4. Add the following lines to your hosts file: (Located in WindowsSystem32driversetchosts)

- 127.0.0.1 www.magix.com
- 127.0.0.1 195.214.216.16

5. Now, launch the program, when you get activation pop up click on "Exit The Program"
6. when you re-launch it, your license will be recognized.

Important Note: Do not ever update the program!!

Why not update?
Because the license is particulary made for this version, therefore the moment the program is updated, it will stop working! Don't forget to edit your hosts file also.
