The series starred Tom Selleck as easy going detective Thomas Magnum, who lived on a huge Hawaiian estate owned by absentee author Robin Masters. John Hillerman co-starred as Magnum's nemesis, Jonathan Quayle Higgins, the major domo of the Masters estate. Larry Manetti and Roger E. Mosley also co-starred as Magnum's pals, Orville "Rick" Wright and Theodore "T.C." Calvin respectively.
