Making a Murderer is an American web television series that first streamed on Netflix on December 18, 2015. The first season recounts the story of Steven Avery, a man who was imprisoned for the sexual assault and attempted murder of Penny Beerntsen, and who was later exonerated, only to be subsequently accused and convicted of the murder of Teresa Halbach. The series was filmed over the course of ten years, with the creators moving back and forth from New York to Wisconsin during filming. The first episode was released on YouTube the same day the first season was released on Netflix to promote the series, something Netflix had not previously done for any other original programming.

Thank you! Somebody gave some details! Although you are right about the jerkyness, ALL encodes and sources out there have the same issue in the same spot (just checked, AGAIN, to be sure).. so like I said: the quality of the video isn't that good to begin with being sourced by the documentary crew starting from the early 2000's

and fyi, the 980ti can't decode h.265.. for some reason only the 960 and 950 can decode, all the 900 series can encode it though.. not sure why they did that but that's how it is. Also yes, you shouldn't have any problems with hevc or 4k video with that cpu in tow

BUT AS I ALREADY SAID, the issues involved in the complaints (yours too) aren't related to the encoding process.. maybe read a little first.. cough.. if you can.. anonymous..

For people who don't know, this series contains tons of video from very different sources. Most in the early 2000's, none digital, and basically from vhs or worse! Don't expect it to be all crisp, clean, and free of movement issues.. like when panning from side to side.. which seems to be what the derps of the internet are saying.. at least the couple that complain anonymously..
