DescriptionFor many years, AC/DC have been considered the thinking man's rock band. The popularity of the band has led to a number of biographies over the years, some good, many bearely readable. But this encyclopaedia is something different: taking key elements and subjects surrounding DC - songs, albums, personnel, gigs, events and numerous other subjects - and presenting them in alphabetical order, with each entry illustrated accordingly. The authors get to the heart of the matter in hundreds of individula ways. Publisher: Chrome Dreams (13 November 2008) Language: English ISBN-10: 1842404369 ISBN-13: 978-1842404362 Most Helpful Customer Review Very Good Read 26 November 2008 By King Rocker - I was a litle dubious when i spotted that yet another AC/DC book had been published, but i bought it anyway and was very pleasantly surprised. Firstly, this is very different to all the biographies on sale as it's an A-Z listing of just about everything connected to the band - but it also contains a lot of first hand interviews and direct quotes, the authors having interviewed most of the band members over the years many times it seems. This volume is now among my favourite 'DC books and i'd very much recommend giving it a try if you're also a fan of the group Sharing Widget |
