Description
From ancient airs to beautiful baroque pieces to lively dance tunes, the music herein is a journey through the Celtic lands. Surrounded by water or located in coastal areas, it is no surprise that the sea often appears thematically in the traditional music of this unique culture. Perhaps this affiliation comes from the luring tones of the harp itself, reminiscent of ocean waves; serene, restful, magnificent and untamed. The pure sounds of Margie Butler's harps are supported by guitar, violin, viola, penny-whistle and accordion, to create a sound that is indeed magical.
