Here are two albums from Mari Boine, recorded around the late 80's/early 90's. Most of the lyrics are in Sami language (what used to be called Laplander), but that should be no deterrent, as the quality is outstanding and the end result quite mesmerizing.

Great thanks.
Have her album "Eight seasons " where she sings in english, but you are right, no matter what she sings her voice is mesmerising.
