Marley Was Dead - Radio Drama (Size: 52.1 MB)
Description
1 x 60 Mins It's Christmas Eve evening at BBC Radio. A host of stars are ready in a central London church to give a reading of Charles Dickens' classic tale "A Christmas Carol." All the continuity announcer needs to do is press a few buttons and the listeners can enjoy a live relay of this grand event, while he and his Spanish friend enjoy a quiet Christmas drink. What can go wrong? Well, what can go wrong is somebody tips a jug of Sangria over the control desk and all connections are lost. There's only one thing to do: plead with the listeners to 'phone in and help create their own reading of "A Christmas Carol." An eclectic selection of participants, ranging from actress Jane Horrocks, through The Archers' Joe Grundy to the (real life) Controller of Radio 4. All deeply silly and at times laugh out loud funny. Sharing Widget |
