Mary's Blood is a female Power Metal band, formed when the majority of the members of the band Destrose left.

Mary's Blood was organized after a huge falling-out concerning one of the key 'gothic lolita' clad power metal bands in 2009. Whatever tensions were going on in the group Destrose between guitarist Mina and the rest of the members eventually resulted in a complete overhaul of the band, with Mina basically having to replace almost everybody while much of the former Destrose clan decided they enjoyed jamming with each other without Mina around and thus formed their own act with a name derived as a wordplay on the Bloody Mary cocktail and not as a homage to the Nightwish song "Creek Mary's Blood". Judging by this effort, what Mina & this batch of characters had in mind as far as metal goes weren't worlds apart, but they clearly differed in overall vision, so in retrospect the whole fracas was an inevitability.
