For the first time in MasterChef Australia history, the competition jumps straight into the Top 22 stage, with some of the best amateur cooks from across the country mixing it up in a high-pressure test of know-how and nerve.

The challenge is simple: contestants get 90 minutes to cook either an entree, main or dessert while Heston has to cook all three courses in the same time, and as always there's a twist in the challenge.
