Following damning comments about Heather Mills from divorce judge Mr Justice Bennett, this half-hour documentary delves into her colourful life.



Mills was awarded £24.3million, but the Judge who settled the McCartney's acrimonious split said she was a “fantasist” who “indulged in blatant make believe” and was “not just inconsistent but less than candid”.



The programme examines the claims that Mills once passed herself off as a journalist, reports how her ex-fiancee was snubbed just days before they were due to marry, and reveals how she told The Sunday Times of a peerage that never materialised.



A childhood friend claims she was devastated when Mills’ autobiography ‘Out on a Limb’ gave a sensational account of a kidnap at the hands of a paedophile – a fabrication, according to the friend.



Executive producer Steve Anderson said: "Heather's life story could have been written for Hollywood. From a poor childhood to a face-to-face showdown in the divorce courts with one of the richest men on the planet.



"Perhaps this is the programme Sir Paul should have seen before he decided to get married."
