DescriptionRelease Title: Merry Madagascar [2009] & Mickey's Christmas Carol [1983](A UKB-KvCD By BINGOWINGZ) Release Date: 2009 & 1983 Genre: Animation | Adventure | Comedy | Family | RunTime: 53 Minutes Merry Madagascar [2009] The brand new holiday adventure stars Everyones favorite characters from Madagascar. Merry Madagascar begins when Santa an his sleigh unexpectedly crash-land on the island giving Santa a case of Amnesia. Mickey's Christmas Carol [1983] It's the same old classic Charles Dickens story with an all star Disney cast. Uncle Scrooge McDuck is appropriately enough Scrooge and is visited by his dead partner and 3 spirits one night to remember the joys of Christmas. With all the remakes of "A Christmas Carol," it's nice to watch one that actually captures a warm, Christmas spirit. This animated version is short and leaves out a lot of the storyline, but it gives you the basics. Mickey Mouse makes a surprisingly good Bob Cratchit, and the Tiny Tim is the only one from any movie so far who has actually won my sympathy instead of annoying me! It helps a lot that Scrooge has a more human voice than the other Disney characters. A lot of his dialog is heartfelt and touching. The music is nice, too, adding a lot to the feel of the movie. The animation is clean and creates a much better London than most live action movies can! This version is great to watch with kids - it is simplified, so it is easy for them to understand, but you will enjoy it too. It makes you glad it's Christmas time. You can download the VLC media player from www.videolan.org but it's NOT recommended to view KVCD's on your PC as they're specifically encoded to view on your standalone DVD Player and TV. If you are planning on watching on your PC then please don't moan about quality as you have been warned. If you wanted to watch on you PC then you've downloaded the wrong release, You want a DIVX or XVID version so I'll say it one more time, don't moan about quality as you have been warned. To burn to disc using Nero just right click on the cue file which will be the smallest of the 2 then choose Open With and browse to your Nero.exe (possibly just called Nero) file. (Located in Program Files / Ahead / Nero folder) Ensure the *Always use the selected program to open this type of file* box is ticked, this way next time all you have to do is double click the cue file and the burning interface will open, now choose which speed you would like to burn your disc at. It's recommended to burn at no more than 8x, Or 10x if you burn at a faster speed this may impair the quality and make the video pixelated.
