The Metabarons Alpha/Omega


A collection of various stories, deleted scenes and extras not included in the trade volumes.

1/ The Crest of Castaka
This short story was taken from the French Metabarons companion book, "La maison des ancetres".

(extras): The short story was expanded into a series of it's own: "Castaka" (included).

2/ Incal: The Lost Pages
Moebius illustrated this sequence for the third volume of The Incal, but it was condensed into just three panels. Originally printed in The Incal companion book "Les Mystères de l'Incal", the short was recolored for the Alpha/Omega trade.

(extras): Included are the original condensed French and English pages, the French version from "Les Mystères de l'Incal" (with the original coloring), plus a b+w version English version.

3/ Metabarons 1: The Lost Pages
Juan Gimenez recycled Moebius's unused pages from The Incal in the first volume of The Metabarons series, but this scene was dropped in the English version.

(extras): the deleted scene was used to create Metabarons chapter 01 (uncut).

4/ The Last Metabaron
A nine page introduction to a new Metabarons series.

(extras): Due to various delays, Travis Charest only completed 30 pages of this series. It was left to Zoran Janjetov to finish his work, and the series was eventually released as "Weapons of the Metabaron" (included).
