This is a truer-than-it-is-fictional re-telling of the version of events told of in John Berendt's ultra-best selling novel about the people and places surrounding a real homicide that took place in Savannah, Georgia in the 1980's.

Midnight In The Garden of Good and Evil introduces viewers to a sophisticated and quietly gay antiques dealer (Kevin Spacey) who either murdered a notorious local hustler (a young Jude Law) or killed him in self defense. There's also a voodoo priestess, a world-famous bulldog, an eccentric inventor who just might possess a substance that could poison the population of a mid-sized city, a colorful old school lawyer, a flamboyant drag queen, a visiting investigative reporter who knows a good story when he sees one, and added into the mix is the sun-bathed culture and vitality of Savannah itself.
