'GRACE KELLY' is a song by Mika released for download on January 9th 2007 as the first single from the album. Produced and mixed by Greg Wells, the song entered the UK Singles Chart at No.3 and the UK Official Download Chart at No.1. One week later, it jumped to the top position, despite still being available on downloads only. The track was No.1 in the UK Singles Chart for the 5 weeks to and including February 18th 2007. In the U.S., 'Grace Kelly' was made available for digital download on January 16th 2007. This song was also No.89 on MTV Asia's list of Top 100 Hits of 2007 and ended 2007 as the years 3rd biggest-selling single in the UK. It was designed to be a mocking satire of musicians who try to reinvent themselves to be popular. It is titled after Grace Kelly, an Academy Award-winning American film, stage actress and Princess of Monaco. Mika claims the song was inspired after a bad experience with a record company executive. The lyric "So I tried a little Freddie" is a reference to Queen's Freddie Mercury, to whose singing voice Mika's has been compared. The music video for the song 'Grace Kelly' was directed by Sophie Muller and starred Mika and Holly Muller. The video was filmed in early November 2006. The instrumental introduction in the video is an extract of the acoustic version of the song found on certain releases of the album.

'LOVE TODAY' is the second single released from the album 'Life in Cartoon Motion'. The song is currently featured in the United States in advertising for MTV's Monday night programming block, and Verizon Wireless. Part of this song was also played in the opening of an episode of the show Best Week Ever. It is also currently being used as the Station ID for Star World, replacing Tata Young's 'Come Rain Come Shine'. It was released in the United Kingdom on April 16th 2007 as a digital download, with the official CD release on April 23rd 2007 and it has since peaked at No.6. On December 6th, 2007, it was announced that the song won Mika a nomination for Best Dance Recording for the 50th Grammy Awards to be held in Los Angeles in 2008.

'BIG GIRL [YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL]' is the third single from the debut album 'Life in Cartoon Motion'. It reached No.9 in the UK charts. It was released on July 23rd 2007. Mika has also rerecorded the track as the promo theme for the second season of the American Dramedy series "Ugly Betty", but with altered lyrics to say "Hey Betty, You Are Beautiful" in its chorus. The video was filmed on May 19th 2007 and features several curvaceous women running down Croydon high street and Surrey Street Market in what appear to be cowboy outfits.

'HAPPY ENDING' is the fourth single released from 'Life in Cartoon Motion', producer Greg Wells remixed and rearranged the single, scheduled for release online on October 8th 2007, and in shops on CD and 7" vinyl on October 15th 2007. The single charted at number seven on the UK Singles Chart. It was the fifth most added song to Australian radio in late October 2007 and was released there offically on November 12th 2007, as the 3rd single despite digital track sales placing the song in the ARIA singles chart before the official release.

'LOLLIPOP' is the fifth single released from 'Life in Cartoon Motion and was released in the UK on December 31st 2007 as a double A-side with 'RELAX, TAKE IT EASY'. The single was available for digital download on December 24th 2007. Due to high amounts of downloads for 'Lollipop' at the time of the album release, before it had been released or promoted as a single, it charted in the Top 75 UK Singles Chart due to new rules allowing songs to chart based on download sales without a physical single release. Mika has said in interviews that the song is his favourite on the album and that he wrote it for his sister.

'RELAX, TAKE IT EASY' is a 2006 and 2007 single by Mika, from his debut album Life in Cartoon Motion. In the UK, it failed to chart on its original limited 7" vinyl release, but after 'Grace Kelly' topped the charts in January 2007, it managed to peak at No.67 on the UK Downloads Chart because of download sales. The song makes use of a melody line from the Cutting Crew hit single '[I Just] Died In Your Arms'. The song was released as Mika's sixth single release in the UK in stores on December 31st 2007 and for digital download on December 24th 2007 as a double A-side with 'LOLLIPOP'.
