Tubular Beats contains Mike Oldfield's greatest hits remixed in collaboration with the multi-platinum German producer Torsten York Stenzel (whose credits include Tina Turner, Moby and more). The remixes were created from the original recorded tracks, with Mike Oldfield re-recording select guitar parts. The album includes such classics as Tubular Bells, To France, and Moonlight Shadow, all re-mixed in fresh, danceable versions.
The album features the brand new song Never Too Far, which was recorded with former Nightwish singer Tarja Turunen.
