Alright, I have got it downloaded and installed without issue. There is no virus, it is common for a torrented game and/or crack for a game to be mistaken for a virus. I have a top rated paid for antivirus program and I have never had any problems with the many games I have torrented.
Now this torrent is not perfect, as the uploader as mentioned version 1.6.1 does have a bug when trying to play on Windows 7. And like the others who have said they have had problems with that, I do as well. But I do have it running 1.5.2 perfectly fine. I am sure that the bug will be fixed in time, you can not expect for a torrented item to always be perfect and work just like if you had bought it. \n
Lastly, for all those who wonder if this has a place for texture packs, saves, or mods that you can add things to; it does.

Just tried the 1.6.2 version with this launcher, and that one as well will not work. Just like 1.6.1 the window for the game opens for a split second then it seems to crash without an error message.

Does this use a cracked/modded version of the new Minecraft launcher to bypass authentication, or still an older launcher variant?
Also, Minecraft 1.6.2 was just recently released. I happen to alrwady own a legit copy of the game, but just for the heads up. :)
