The British character actress Margaret Rutherford is best remembered for playing Madame Arcarti in the film version of "Blithe Spirit" and later as Miss Marple in several films of Agatha Christie novels.

An aspect of her private life however was her asexual attraction to young men. In this play, based on real events, June Whitfield steps away from her usual comic actress role to play Margaret Rutherford in this touching and poignant piece about a somewhat troubled actress.
