Mostonet Privacy Suite è la prima suite di sicurezza interamente Made in Italy pensata per aiutare l'utente comune a limitare le comunicazioni in uscita effettuate da sistemi operativi telemetrici come le ultime versioni di Windows. Mostonet Privacy Suite oltre a cercare di immunizzare i sistemi Windows contro l'esecuzione di software estorsivi (detti Ransomware o CryptoWorms, loro naturale evoluzione) consente di minimizzare la
fuoriuscita di dati telemetrici personali sensibili. Inoltre nelle versioni utilizzabili in ambito non commerciale (Privata e Portable) è possibile utilizzare il motore antivirus Software Libero (Open Source) di ClamAV per individuare ed estirpare malware e programmi Ad-ware anche attivi in memoria in sistemi operativi purtroppo già compromessi.

Novità

La creazione di Mostonet Privacy Suite ha richiesto un grande sforzo, fatto di pianificazione, debug e purtroppo qualche litigata in famiglia per il notevole tempo investito. Tuttavia di versione in versione, si è cercato di limitare i bug al minimo, inasprendo dove possibilele regole e le logiche di funzionamento con lo scopo di trovare un buon compromesso tra praticità e riservatezza anche in ambito aziendale (workstation in domini Active Directory ecc..).

- Commerciale: versione priva di scanner anti-malware Software Libero (ClamAV).

Requisiti minimi Mostonet Privacy Suite è stata scritta con l'obiettivo di essere il più possibile leggera, efficiente e totalmente indipendente dalla piattaforma .NET fin quando sarà possibile. La Suite è stata progettata per poter essere eseguita anche in sistemi operativi notevolmente compromessi, danneggiati, infetti e con pochissima memoria RAM disponibile.
