Motion Picture Funnies Weekly #1 (1939) reconstruction; first Marvel comic

Motion Picture Funnies Weekly #1 was the very first Marvel comic to be published, ever. The comic has never been reprinted in its entirety and there are only a small handful of copies in existence. This is the closest one is ever going to get and the most readable copy I could come up with. Basically, most of the stories themselves have been reprinted in other issues throughout time so I have collected each of the stories from those issues and compiled them in the right order. For the stories that have never been reprinted I have taken someones photographs of the inside of an actual copy of the comic and photoshopped them a little to make them as readable as possible.

This copy includes color versions of most of the stories (even though they were originally printed in black and white) and even though the original Namor story was printed with only 8 pages it was later reprinted in Marvel Comics #1 with an added 4 pages (for a total of 12) so I have included all 12 pages in full color. Basically, every single story and element is here from the original issue but with some color and a few extra pages. You will not find a single copy of this issue anywhere else on the internet, so hopefully this will be a good opportunity to read into some classic Marvel history. Enjoy. :)
