Background Info

Pullman-Standard set the "standard" for grain cars in the early 1970's with the 4750 cu. ft., 3 bay covered hopper. Built up from their previous 4740 cu. ft. model, the 4750 cu. ft. hopper has served on almost every major US railroad from the 1970's to present. Trinity Railcar purchased Pullman-Standard in the early 1980's, but kept building covered grain hoppers from the same design well into the 1990's. This freight car pack comes with 6 cars in from "fallen flag" railroads, some of whom served the major grain producing parts of the United States.
