Niharika is the daughter of actor and producer Nagendra Babu.She became popular as an anchor on Telugu television before pursuing a career as an actress. Niharika Hosted the Telugu dance reality show Dhee Juniors aired on ETV Telugu.September 2015, she signed as a lead heroine in a film titled Oka Manasu which marks her debut as an actress. She is current starring in a youtube webseries as Aasha Rao. The webseries directed by Pranith Bramandapally is titled Muddapappu Avakai. The trailer was launched on October 29 on the occasion of Niharika’s dad Nagababu’s birthday.
