It's a vacation in paradise, or is it? ID's new series recounts stories of happy couples who go on dream vacations that end in violence. Only one of them comes back alive, and it's never an accident. Could these unwitting victims have been murdered by the last person in the world they'd expect to do them harm?

Tropical oases become the backdrop for cold and senseless killings when unwitting victims head for idyllic destinations, hoping that a change in scenery will offer respite from everyday concerns. But they learn the hard way that romantic sunsets and enchanting culture often hide danger and death.

"MURDER IN PARADISE" is a mystery series that aims to uncover whether these victims were the random targets of a brutal stranger or the focused objects of premeditated evil.

Local police now declare Arturo's death a suicide by hanging, though evidence seems to suggest otherwise when two private investigators recreate the crime scene. Canadian courts have no choice but to award Amanda her late husband's millions. Although Arturo's grieving family vows to continue fighting for what they believe is the truth, a Brazilian judge closed the case in March of 2013.
