The Cutie Mark Crusaders have been taking lessons under Twilight Sparkle's mentorship in a weekly event called "Twilight Time". They feel the need to be able to one-up Diamond Tiara's showmanship at school, and decide to take her and Silver Spoon as guests to their next Twilight Time, though the two are more excited to meet the princess. Soon, all of the other fillies and colts befriend the Crusaders, hoping to meet Twilight themselves. As the pressure mounts on the Crusaders, they are forced to bring them all to the next Twilight Time, where they realize that with all the attention they have received, they have forgotten to practice for their lessons. After their attempts fail in front of Twilight, the rest of the fillies and colts leave. The Crusaders apologize for taking advantage of Twilight's fame; Twilight accepts their apology and lets them continue their studies.
