Opis:

"Na fali" to pełna zwrotów akcji opowieść o gangsterskich porachunkach i męskiej rywalizacji z miłością w tle.
Banda gangsterów napada na banki w Los Angeles. Rabusie ukrywający swoje twarze pod maskami prezydentów USA skutecznie unikają wymiaru sprawiedliwości. Śledztwo doprowadza policję do grupy surferów. Poszlaki nie wystarczają jednak do przedstawienia jakichkolwiek zarzutów. Świeżo upieczony absolwent szkoły policyjnej Johnny Utah (w tej roli Keanu Reeves) wchodzi do środowiska surferów. Czy uda mu się rozwikłać zagadkę? Zadanie na pewno nie będzie proste, zwłaszcza że w grupie surferów jest Bodhi (Patrick Swayze), który mógłby być godnym przeciwnikiem dla niejednego twardziela.

Storyline:

In the coastal town of Los Angeles, a gang of bank robbers call themselves the ex-presidents. commit their crimes while wearing masks of ex-presidents Reagan, Carter, Nixon and Johnson. The F.B.I. believes that the members of the gang could be surfers and send young agent Johnny Utah undercover at the beach to mix with the surfers and gather information. Utah meets surfer Bodhi and gets drawn into the lifestyle of his new friend.
