Installation Part 1:

Nero Multimedia Suite 10 installation online and offline .

When setup begins it will try and install Net framework 3.0 and 3.5 online (this is required)




I got an error "unable to install Netframework 3 due to file KB296821 x86 set will now terminate"



To fix this use the Netframework Removal tool included in this download.
REMEMBER YOU ONLY NEED TO USE IT IOF YOU GET THE ABOVE ERROR KB296821 or simular


I removed Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 and 3.5, Then I reinstalled each of them using the tool in this download.





After the cleaning Net Framework with the tool I had to reboot the PC.

I then run the nero setup again WITH an internet connection and it downloaded the Net framework with no issues. (I have included them in this package )

If all went well it will then ask if you want to install "ASK toolbar", Untick the box and click next.

Nero will ask to reboot.

NOTE:
"If you still had a problem with KB296821 x86 error or simular remove Net framework 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 using net framework removal tool and start install again."




Installation Part 2:

After the reboot mentioned above install will begin...

IMPORTANT: During installation it will provide a demo key. DO NOT change the key during installation!

Select 'Custom' installation.

In the list find 'Nero Update'. and select 'This feature will not be available' and click next to continue installation.

IMPORTANT: When you get to 'Nero Product Improvement Program' select 'No, thanks' and finish installation

After installation, open Nero 10 Start Smart.

The 'Trial Version' window will open.

Underneith 'Upgrade Now' highlighted in blue, you will see'If you already have a serial number' click it.

Click on 'entering your serial number'



Enter Nero Multimedia Suite Serial: (you can also add the Plugin keys at this point)

Go to 'ToolBox Nero ControlCenter Serial Numbers'.
Click on 'Add'

If you installed Nero Update by mistake:
Go to 'ToolBox >> Nero ControlCenter Update' Tab
Click the 'Online Options' Tab and de-select the 'Check for updates' box.


To prevent activation you really should add the links below to your "hosts" file.

I would highly recommend it because if you click activate (or someone else using your PC does) then it can't authenticate and detect a pirate serial.

The "hosts" file is located in:
C:WINDOWSSystem32Driversetc open the "hosts"file using notepad and copy and paste the info below
UNDER your host address 127.0.0.1 This will prevent Nero from connecting for authentication.
